Thurlestone Golf Club has a total of 12 tennis courts - 10 grass and 2 hard.  Membership of the Tennis Section is included in Full Playing membership of the Club, or may be purchased as a stand-alone item.

MEMBERSHIP, VISITORS AND FEES

Membership of the Tennis Section for both adults and juniors is obtained by payment of Full Playing or Tennis-only annual subscription.  (See Tennis Fees below).  For further information, or enquiries, please contact the Club Secretary on 01548 560405 or secretary@thurlestonegolfclub.co.uk .  For temporary short-term membership or tennis court hire please contact the Pro Shop on 01548 560715.

BOOKING OF COURTS & PAYMENT OF FEES   

All use of the courts must be booked through the Pro Shop.  (See Booking Policy below).

Both hard courts (Nos 2 & 3) are available throughout the year and ten grass courts (Nos 4 to 13) will be available from from some time in May until September - weather permitting, except when reserved for Club events, tournaments and competitions. 

CLOTHING

Recognised tennis shoes and appropriate clothing is expected on the courts.  Please use the Club changing rooms.

EVENTS, COMPETITIONS & TOURNAMENTS

A comprehensive programme of events is organised by the Tennis Committee (See Events & Tournaments below).  Detailed notices will be posted on the Tennis Section notice board along with entry lists and other details.

ORGANISATION

The Tennis Section Committee is responsible for the organisation of Tennis Section events.

COACHING

Individual and Group coaching is available for adults and juniors under the supervision of Janet Richardson our LTA Professional Coach, who may be contacted on 01548 856007.

BYELAWS

 All members and visitors are expected to adhere to the Rules of the Club and the Tennis Section byelaws.
